I love working with computers and do it pretty much full-time. I also like to experiment with creating new programs and learning new programming languages for different projects. You might say that I spend a lot of time tinkering and what not in the name of coding. However, this means that I often run into problems when it comes to sharing my work online -- especially since developers often rely on browsing the internet for help in case they get stuck or don't know how to fix something themselves. Most likely, you'll find me on GitHub looking for a way out of a tough situation! This is where experimental plugin ext reb tool v1. 03 comes in. It's a Chrome plugin for viewing and downloading files and folders from any website and putting them into a folder of your choice. Its name is pretty straightforward: You can essentially extract almost any file or folder which you see on a website you're browsing by just clicking on it. This is huge for those who want to download the latest version of the project they're working on or something as simple as screenshots or code snippets. Extracting files and folders is easy: Click on the file you want to extract. Get that extracted. Move it to a folder of your choice (yes, this must be done manually). How about downloading the latest version of the project? This can be done through YouTube since most video hosting sites now support HTML5 video embedding. Here's how you do it: Go to YouTube and find a video related to your game or game development project where you want to download the latest version of the game (you probably know what this is). Scroll down until you see an "Embed" button. Select it and click "copy". This will copy the link for the video onto your clipboard for later use. Next, open up your GitHub repository that contains the project you're trying to download. Find the latest commit for the project. Right-click on it and select "copy link address". Now go back to Chrome and click on any file or folder you wish to extract/download/etc.. Make sure the option above "copy link address" is selected. Next, paste in the copied link for your video there instead of doing so manually. Click on the file/folder you wish to extract/download/etc.. You'll notice that under "copy link address", it will also show something like this: https://github. com/USERNAME/REPONAME/blob/master/FILENAME.ext?raw=true . Click on the "raw" part, making sure it's also selected. Copy that. This is what will be needed later to access the latest version of the game you're trying to download.. Open up a new tab in Chrome. Open your browser's developer tools menu by clicking on the spanner icon next to the address bar in Chrome. On the left side of your screen, you'll see something like "Console". Click on it and you should be able to see a bunch of commands and text there. Type in this code: document.
